Special camps for the inclusion of names in the electoral rolls will be held in Tiruchy district from November 12 to December 11 as part of the Special Summary Revision of the 2027 electoral rolls, District Collector Pratik Tayal has announced.
According to a press release issued by the Collector, the Election Commission of India has scheduled the revision with January 1, 2027, as the qualifying date. The exercise will cover all nine Assembly constituencies in Tiruchi district.
Those who will attain the age of 18 on January 1, 2027, as well as those who will turn 18 on April 1, July 1 and October 1, 2027, can also apply for enrolment.
Special camps will be conducted at the polling stations concerned during this period. Eligible applicants can submit their applications in the prescribed forms. Applications for enrolment and corrections can also be submitted online through www.nvsp.in, the Collector said.
