Amid continuous rainfall in Coimbatore and concerns over the spread of infectious diseases, the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation has been organising medical camps in various areas to identify illnesses and provide timely medical assistance to residents.
As part of these efforts, a medical camp in the Ram Nagar area was inspected on Monday.
The medical camps aim to identify health problems at an early stage and help prevent the spread of diseases during the rainy season. Stagnant rainwater can encourage mosquito breeding and increase the risk of mosquito-borne illnesses.
Residents are advised to keep their surroundings clean, prevent water stagnation and seek medical attention if they develop symptoms such as fever or body pain.
The Corporation's initiative is aimed at protecting public health and ensuring access to medical assistance during the rainy season.
