An education loan camp will be held on October 29 for students from Tiruppur district, jointly organised by Canara Bank, the district’s lead bank, and all other banks operating in the district.
In a statement, Collector Manish Naranaware said the camp would be conducted on the ground floor of the Tiruppur Collectorate.
Students seeking education loans must upload their applications and the required documents on www.pmvidyalaxmi.co.in before attending the camp with a copy of the application and supporting documents.
The statement said, students should bring a copy of the application, two recent photographs each of the student and parent, a copy of the bank passbook, annual income certificate, community certificate, PAN card, Aadhaar card, details of educational fees and mark sheets for Classes X and XII and undergraduate courses.
First-generation graduates must also submit the relevant certificate. Students admitted through counselling should bring their admission order.
Nationalised and private banks will participate in the camp and receive applications to facilitate the sanction of education loans.
The Collector urged eligible students from Tiruppur district to make use of the opportunity and apply for education loans with the required documents, the statement said.
