Southern railway will be operating one way express special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Pooja festival.
Rameswaram – Chennai Egmore one-way express special will leave Rameswaram at 09.45 hrs on October 17, 2026 (Saturday) and reach Chennai Egmore at 21.30 hrs, the same day.
This train will stopped at Ramanathapuram, Paramakudi, Manamadurai, Sivagangai, Devakottai road, Karaikudi, Pudukkottai, Trichy, Srirangam, Ariyalur, Viruddachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram.
Chennai Egmore – Mangaluru Central one-way express(06036) special will leave Chennai Egmore at 23.55 hrs on October 17, 2026 (Saturday) and reach Mangaluru Central at 19.45 hrs, the next day(Sunday).
This train will stopped at Perambur, Thiruvallur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Thiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Nileshwar, Kanhangad and Kasaragod.
These Special trains Coach Composition is AC First Class-1, 2- AC Two Tier-2, AC Three Tier-3, 9 - Sleeper Class-9 , General Second Class-4, Second Class Coach-1 and Luggage cum Brake Van-1.
